On June 8th , 2017, Ritz Group will hold its 3rd Annual Creative + Investor Summit™ at Eagle Rock Studios, focused on educating and elevating the entertainment industry in Georgia. The goal of the event is to:

  • Showcase 7 Film, Television, Gaming and/or New Media Companies to the investor community in Georgia.
  • Educate investors and creatives on the significant opportunities in our $7.5 billion industry here in our state.
  • Raise funds for the continued advancement and expansion of the industry here in our state through the ongoing efforts made by Ritz Group and Georgia Production Partnership.
  • Bring Industry Leadership, Financial Leadership and Government Leadership together to transform Georgia from a location state to the Center for Innovation in Media, Worldwide.

Ritz Group is a 32-year, Atlanta Georgia-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) networking organization dedicated to "connecting" entrepreneurs to capital. SUMMIT AGENDA

  • Upon arrival, the attendees will be treated to a VIP STUDIO TOUR, then SHUTTLED from the STUDIO STAGES to the CONFERENCE CENTER prior to being greeted for a lively educational and entertaining event which will include:

  • An opening address, within the Exhibitor Marketplace atrium space, will cover The State of the Industry by the Lieutenant Governor + The Georgia Film Office and Updates, News and Information from Georgia Production Partnership (GPP), Sponsor recognition, and more.

  • Educational panels and workshops such as:

  • DIVERSITY Panel: educate investors and creatives the value and profitability of diversity within entertainment projects.

  • Business of INDUSTRY Panel: entertainment is about creativity, but, it’s also about the ROI created from every person, story, and execution plan required from the words “Action” to “That’s a wrap”.

  • Interactive PITCH Workshop: A ‘how to’ on pitching investors and industry executives your investment readied project with Audience Interaction – bring your 30-second pitch to receive expert feedback.
  • Investor Finance + DISTRIBUTION Panel: discussion and business case examples of the value of investing in entertainment:
  • Our main event, the popular Shark Attack will showcase SEVEN entertainment projects: THREE formal 15-minute pitches with discussion (from a panel of industry experts, investors, and the room), THREE 2-minute rapid fire pitches with Pass / Consider / Recommend feedback. The goal of Shark Attack is to fund Georgia-based Film, Television Gaming and New Media content readied for production here in our state.
  • VIP Greenroom Access will provide attendees who upgrade their general registration, an opportunity to personally engage with panelists, sponsors, investors, funding sources, celebrities and other special guests; including government officials.
  • NETWORKING throughout the event in the Exhibitor’s Marketplace Atrium will include snacks, a CATERED MEAL, and DRINK TICKETS + cash bar.

 

Due to the ‘sold out’ capacity crowds in 2015 and 2016, the 2017 event will be held at Eagle Rock Studios with a capacity opportunity of 500 attendees which will include studio executives, business executives, producers, directors, screenwriters, actors and more. First Come, First Serve.

EXHIBITORS GET (ONE) TABLE POSITIONED IN THE ATRIUM OF THE CONFERENCE CENTER FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT AND ONE EXHIBITOR WHO WILL MAN THEIR TABLE THROUGHOUT. ADDITIONAL EXHIBITORS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE PASSES FOR THOSE TO WORK THEIR TABLES. VIP ACCESS  AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A VIP PASS IF THEY DESIRE ACCESS.
